On Saturday afternoon, officers discovered two nylon bags containing approximately 105 grammes of cannabis in a parking lot in Limassol. This discovery prompted further investigation, leading the police to the adolescent who was located nearby.
According to the police, the teenager was apprehended based on a court warrant. During the arrest, a significant sum of money was also found and seized, indicating potential involvement in money laundering activities.
The minor is expected to appear before the Limassol district court today, where a remand order will be sought. Limassol police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this case, focusing on the broader implications of drug trafficking in the area.
